However, if I had to choose one to talk about it, it would be the time when I needed to finish my presentation project for the financial class in my senior year in college. If my memory served me right, it was about three years ago I was assigned to a group project which was responsible for showing the impact of social media on small businesses. So I began my research immediately right after I knew I was in charge of the introduction stage. Initially, I went to slide a website to download a few spectacular visual effects which could be used in our slide. Then I took advantage of social network platforms, especially Facebook. I created a poll in front of them in order to have an overview of people’s opinions about the issue so that I could create an outline that was able to appeal to the audience’s attention. As expected, I would perform Montana really well. The professor told us that some information that we found was actually beyond his expectation. And there were a variety of reasons why I chose the internet as the main source of information. Firstly, I considered Google the fastest and the most useful tool for information research. It offers numerous content in various fields, which is undeniably convenient, with only an electric device such as a mobile phone. I am able to gain access to the World Bank of Knowledge. Secondly, instead of wasting time in the library finding other relevant books, a few clicks on the internet can hand me tons of necessary knowledge in the front. Needless to say, this advantage allowed me to meet the deadline of the urgent task. Finally, internet-based resources make me choose something that I’ve never known before since they’re often related to articles. They’re often I could expand and elaborate on my assignment. I believe that this is a great way for me or for younger people in general to broaden their horizons without paying too much money.
