Promises are meant to be kept. Some people casually make promises without understanding the gravity of fulfilling them. I do not like to make promises very often, but I made a promise to my son. He wanted me to buy a video game for him after his results. I made the promise, although it was very difficult for me to fulfill, but I purchased the video game for him because he was performing very well and was very disciplined during his studies. I bought the video game for him because he got very good marks during his exam, and he wanted to enjoy time with his friends after so much stress from studying. I made the promise because it was the only thing he had been asking for a long time, and I wanted to fulfill his keen desire. I felt that sometimes, with all the studying, it is necessary for children to enjoy their childhood and the company of their friends. He was very fond of playing games on the computer with his friends, so I really wanted to fulfill his keen desire because I understand.
