Today I will describe a time that I missed an important appointment. It's my teaching appointment for secondary school. When I entered the high school, I had been invited to teach one student at secondary school to help him overcome the entrance exam for high school. It was a day when I was very tired after school hours. I went home at about 9 o'clock, and I had classes to teach him at 6 o'clock. At first, I only planned to sleep for about 30 minutes to relieve my stress and refresh myself. But I forgot to set an alarm to wake up, so I overslept and missed the teaching appointment. When I woke up, it was about 6:30, and I opened my phone. I saw many missed calls from the student and his parents. I felt very guilty, and I was sorry to him and his parents for my unprofessionalism. After that, I made sure not to let it happen again. I set a timer to remind myself to prepare for class on time. I think it was a bad experience for me, and I will always try to ensure it never happens again.
