The unexpected good news that I received was a month ago. It was my scholarship. My school has a scholarship where if we pass the test, we will get a hundred percent scholarship, so we can study for free. I study in a private school, so it costs a lot, and this scholarship really helps my family. I received the scholarship two days after I took the test, and it was in the evening. They called my mom's phone, but at that time, I was using my mom's phone. I picked up, and I was outside in front of my house. I knew I was going to pass because I tried my best for this scholarship. I failed to get a scholarship last year, and it traumatized me so much, so I really tried my best this time. My hard work paid off, and I was really happy about it. I was shocked, and at the same time, I felt proud and that I really deserved this scholarship. The reason why this is really important for me is that if I ended up failing this scholarship again, I would probably have to move to a public school, and my friends and I would be separated. I do not want that to happen. Also, if I pass this scholarship, I will definitely help my family with finances and other things too.

I’m just so shocked and at the same time I feel like I’m proud and I really deserve this scholarship. Yeah. The reason why this is really important for me because if I don’t, if I ending up fail this scholarship again I’ll probably move to a public school and me and my friend going to be separated school and I do not want that to happen. And also, if I pass this scholarship, I will definitely help my family with the finances and stuff too.
