There was a time when I wanted a new phone since my old one had been broken for a long time. My parents did not agree. Even when my mom eventually agreed, my dad remained firm in his decision and was not planning to buy me a new phone, even though my old one was broken. He said it was too expensive for my age. I just kept asking and being persistent. Eventually, he decided to give in and bought it for me. After he agreed, I felt like I had won something big. However, I think he agreed mostly because he loves me and was kind of tired of arguing every day with his daughter. So it may not be entirely my win, but mostly a reflection of a father's love.
