I graduated from my first semester, and right now I am doing a double major in economics, so I don't have a lot of friends. Actually, I don't know anyone in the classes, so I felt a bit alienated and lonely during the classes and in the breaks. I was just in the garden having my coffee when a girl approached me and said, "Hi, how are you? I just saw you in class; you were amazing," something like that. I was impressed because I felt like it was the first person trying to engage with me. We talked about some things, our backgrounds, what we want in the future, and our majors. It was a quick engagement, but it made me feel friendly and social again. After I got home, I felt like maybe things could work out better from now on.
