So, in my family there is a tradition of ironing and ironing, starting at the age of 18. Although this is a common practice within our family, it is not typical in our country. Here most children rely on their parents until they finish their education. After completing studies they usually find a job and then become financially independent. However, in my family, the expectation is that you must work on and cover your own expenses as soon as you turn 18, even if you haven’t completed your education. I believe this traditional originated from with my grandfather, who had to earn his own living at 18. My father followed the same path and now I am doing the same at 20. I am balancing work while I study to support myself. This traditional holds near the significant importance of my family as it fosters self-reliance and independence for the future. I feel that my self-reliance is a direct result of my family tradition, however, I also recognize that it is not widely appreciated in our country since it is not a common practice. The children prefer to pursue their studies using their parents financial support, which is why this tradition is not distinctive in my family.
