To be honest, I watched a lot of TV series until today, but right now I would like to talk about one of them that I like most. So these TV series are called Extra English. It’s a British sitcom which was specially made for English learners. And I watched it for the first time one year ago when I was preparing for IELTS exam and I immediately loved it. The story is about four young people, two girls Annie and Bridget and two boys Hector and Nick who live in the same apartment in London. The most funny part of the series is Hector because he is from Argentina and his English is very basic. So he misunderstands things which creates a lot of humorous situations. Moreover, each episode is about daily lives like shopping, cooking, dating and so on. The most thing that I like about these TV series is the way how they are speaking. The language that they use is very simple and clear to understand and much slower than other TV shows. So it’s perfect for learners. If you are asking why I like these two TV series, I would say that it really helped me to enhance my English vocabulary, listening skills in a fun and a relaxing way. And the characters are very likeable and the jokes are easy to understand. So that’s why I like it.
