During my life, I have had great ambitions that I set out to achieve. Usually, I achieved my intentions, but last year, when I was keen on being selected for the International Chemistry Olympiad, I did not get the results I wanted. I participated in the Republic Olympiad and received a Gold Medal for this ambition. Afterward, educational officials arranged an examination to evaluate us to determine which children would represent our country. Only four participants would be selected for the Olympiad. However, as I started to prepare for the examination later than some students, I could not reach the level they had already attained. These children were extremely diligent and hardworking, and they had been preparing for months. I placed 7th in the examinations, and I was disappointed that I could not achieve my goal. It was my dream to participate and earn a medal from this Olympiad. I learned many things from my preparation. I gained substantial knowledge about chemistry and experience in preparation. I understood the importance of early preparation.
