One of the most important decisions I've made in my life was choosing to attend university. When I was 17, fresh out of high school, I had a strong desire to become a makeup artist. While I respect the profession, I realized it might not offer the same level of career potential as other fields. My father, who has always been a guiding force in my life, wasn't enthusiastic about my makeup artist aspirations. He envisioned me pursuing a more prestigious path, attending a university renowned for its academic excellence. He wanted to showcase my achievements to his friends and demonstrate that his son was receiving a top-tier education. Ultimately, I decided to follow his advice and enrolled at Westminster International University in Tashkent. My father has always been a mentor to me, and his guidance is invaluable. I always consider his words carefully because he has been a constant source of support throughout my life. When he shared his perspective, I knew I had to make a decision that aligned with his advice. This decision has had a profound impact on my life, completely altering its trajectory. Moving to a new city has introduced me to a whole new world of friends, connections, and interests. Everything feels different, from the people I interact with to the experiences I have. While I acknowledge that social media can sometimes be a distraction, constantly seeking that quick dopamine hit, I believe that attending Westminster University has significantly contributed to my personal growth and development. It has opened doors to opportunities and experiences that I wouldn't have had otherwise.

So it is probably the most important decision of my life because of how crucial it is and it is entering the university. And first of all, let me tell you, when I was 17, just finishing my high school, I wanted to be a makeup artist. And with all due respect to the profession itself, it doesn’t have as much potential as some of the other jobs, let’s be honest. And, uh, my dad was not keen of me becoming a, uh, makeup artist. He wanted me to enter the university that is prestigious, that gives you the best education in the country. And he just wanted to show of his friends that his son is in this university. That’s why I’ve entered the, uh, Westminster International University in Tashkent. And my dad is almost like a mentor for me. And his advices are always very important to me. I always take into account his words because he helped me. He has helped me in my whole life. And, uh, when he made these advice, I had to make a decision that is aligned with the advice he gave me. And why is it so important? The decision itself is because my life took a completely different route. Because I’m from another city and, uh, now I’ve got different friends, different connections, different interests. Everything is different, different. And although I would also say that still because of the social media, my attention span is fright. I always search for that quick dopamine hit, it is true. But still, in terms of self improment, the development, because I’ve entered the, uh, Westminster University, it have helped me immensely. And, uh, that’s all.
