One of the most important decisions I have ever made was choosing to become an English teacher and dedicate a significant part of my career to language education. I made this decision several years ago when I was considering different professional paths. At the time I was uncertain about which direction to take and I spent a considerable amount of time evaluating my strengths, interests and long term goals. I wanted a career that would not only provide professional opportunities but also allow me to make a positive contribution to other people's lives. Before making the final decision, I tried to carefully weigh the options. I spoke with experienced educators, researched the various career opportunities and reflected on my personal interests. Having considered all the possibilities, I realized that teaching was the field that genuinely inspired me. Choosing this career required me to step outside my comfort zone. Teaching involves public speaking, communicating, leadership, and continuous learning. Initially, I was nervous about standing in front of students and taking responsibility for their learning outcomes. However, I understood that personal development often requires people to face challenges. Faced with this decision, it was a calculated risk, because success was not guaranteed. Nevertheless, I believed that it would help me pursue my ambition.
