Last week we planned to visit a historical place so we as a whole family decided to go to a hall for a historical mosque to visit the historical mosque. So we went there in the morning and we went for the whole day there. The Vaas Shahi mosque is built by the Mughal Emperor in the 17th century. It has a very vast red sandstone courtyard and also four minars. It has some stone carvings and it’s within its courtyard more than 50,000 people can worship. I also offered a prayer in that courtyard and it was very peaceful and quiet. So, as it is very old but after more than 100 years it still remains a proud for its area. And as common help preserved it in a very well mannered way. And I think it’s a very good thing that government is paying attention on its historical place If we save our historical place, we save our history and our new generation who don’t know about the history, they can practically visit the place and by being in that place, they can learn a lot about the history and they can enjoy. So, I would pay, I think, 50 rupees per person as an entry ticket. The local area also benefited from the money that is used by the gatekeepers. They used this money for the betterment and the reforms of the local area. Plus also for the betterment of that Vashayi mosque. They can buy the worship mats and they can buy caps and own some special okay. Kalyanthe also distribute food to some poor and needy people who visit the historical place. So I think it was a very memorable and the most enjoyable visit to any historical place.
