Pronunciation

6.5

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

Task Response

The response is a good start, but it could be improved by providing more details about the song's story and why it is interesting. Consider expanding on the connection between diamonds and the song's meaning, and providing more specific examples of what makes the song enjoyable. Adding more depth to your explanation of the song's narrative and your personal connection to it will strengthen your response.

Fluency & Coherence

The response is coherent, but the fluency could be improved. There are a few instances of repetition and slightly hesitant speech. Try to speak more smoothly and confidently, pausing naturally between ideas rather than using filler words like 'so' excessively. Practice speaking about the topic without looking at notes to improve fluency.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary is adequate but lacks precision and range. While the speaker uses words like 'genres' and 'respect,' more sophisticated vocabulary could enhance the response. Try to use more descriptive adjectives and avoid simple repetitions. For example, instead of saying 'the song is good,' describe what makes the song good, using more specific language.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The grammar is mostly accurate, but there are a few minor errors. For example, the phrase 'songs is not useful for me' should be 'songs are not useful to me.' The sentence structure is sometimes simple. Try to incorporate more complex grammatical structures, such as relative clauses and passive voice, to demonstrate a wider range.
