This invention is smartphones. Nowadays, we all are dependent on smartphones and it is quite hard to live our lives without using smartphones. I still remember during the lockdown when there were strict rules and regulations imposed by the government. We were not able to go outside. It was for our own safety. But at that time, I was out of some household items and other grocery items. I did not know what to do. My friend suggested me to place an online order. With the help of my smartphone, he placed an online order. Within 20 minutes, I got all the groceries and household items. Because of the advanced feature of the smartphone, I was able to place a quick order. My smartphone instructor asked me how to place an order because it was my first time. There are also some other benefits of using smartphones. We can talk to our family members. As a student, I am living here in Canada and my family is far away. I do FaceTime with my family members on a daily basis. Apart from this, we can use smartphones to run social media applications, chat with friends and play video games. Smartphones have influenced people’s lives differently. Children use smartphones to play video games. While younger generation use smartphones for entertainment, to watch movies and chat with friends. However, there is one drawback that it is difficult for older people to use smartphones because of the advanced feature. We can teach them so that they can use it for their betterment. However, another drawback is that our life is too much dependent on smartphones and other technical equipment. We are too much addicted to smartphones.
