Band 7+: Describe an occasion when you had to do something in a hurry. You should say: what you had to do why you had to do this in a hurry how well you did this and explain how you felt about having to do this in a hurry.

I would like to share with you one story which happened with me one year ago. It is about one conference that was happening in my university. I applied to this conference in the beginning of the year, somewhere in January 2025. and I immediately forgot that I needed to do some real work for my research. Eventually I got a subject for this conference and my performance should have been the last of the whole program. So it should have been extraordinary. The reason why I had to do it in a hurry was because I had a very difficult curriculum since it was my last year on a bachelor program. And I was so busy with my homework and exams, so I forgot about preparing the real research about political protests in Belarus in 2020 and how it affected all the whole community. However, I performed very well. It was perfectly delivered. I scored all the expectations of the jury members and I got the prize for my performance as it was scored as the best. In the end I felt so excited about the result. Nevertheless, during the process itself I was very anxious.
