Back in 2017, my family and I visited Istanbul in Turkey. We checked into our hotel late at night, and we were so hungry that we were looking for a place to have a late dinner. We decided to choose this little cafeteria that was nearby our hotel. Little did I know that it was going to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. I remember it to this day because of how delicious it was. Even though the meal was quite basic, I would say it’s one of Turkey's most famous dishes. It’s called Kofte. It’s basically meatballs, but there was something in them that was so delicious I couldn’t stop eating them. Our trip lasted for about a week. Every single day, I would take my family, my mother and my father, to this cafe, and I would order the same course of meat all the time.
