Well, the meal I had was very unusual and it happened completely by accident. I was waiting for my flight at the airport when I suddenly heard someone calling my name. When I turned around I saw my high school best friend whom I hadn’t seen in almost ten years. And it was such a wonderful surprise to see him after all this time. And uh. We quickly coughed up each other’s lives. Since we had some time to go to kill before our fls, my friend suggested that we grabbed something to it. And uh, then we walked around the airport and eventually found a um. Small restaurant that served local cuisine. And uh. I was excited to try something new. And my friend ordered a dish that you said was uh, a local specialty. When our food arrived it was aprised to see that it was actually a plate of insects. They were fried cricketets, roasshoppers and beetles. And uh. I haven’t never eaten this sex before and I was a bit hesitant at first but my friend encouraged me to try them. I think that they were delicious and packed with protein and uh. I finally must the courage to try on. To my surprise, it was actually quite yasty. It had a crunchy texture and a uh. Slightly. Not a flavor. I ended up getting more than I thought I would. And my friend and I had a good laugh about the experience. Overall it was unusual meal for me and I definitely not something I would have ordered on my own. However, I’m glad that I charied it and it something that I remember for a long time. It was also a great way to reconnect with my friend and make some new memories after all these years.
