In Nepal, a multicultural country, different communities have their own unique and important foods. However, the Brahmin community is known for creating several popular dishes. They often prepare dishes like sekuwa, boua, and takali set, among others. I particularly admire the takali set, which is prepared in various styles and incorporates ingredients common in our country. Another favorite food of mine is diro and gunru. These dishes are even recognized as staple foods in major hotels and restaurants. They are traditional foods that hold significant social and cultural values in our society. They are also rich in nutrition and protein. In Nepal, diro and gunru are widely consumed by people of all ages, as they are believed to be beneficial for health. They are often used to address minor health issues like fever and headaches. I grew up eating these foods, and I have a great fondness for them. The last popular food on my list is sel roti. It is a round-shaped bread made from rice flour, dipped in hot oil, and then served. Sel roti is consumed by many people on various occasions, such as weddings, birthdays, and even during major Hindu festivals like Dashain. I enjoy sel roti because of its sweet and delicious taste. The color of sel roti also fascinates me. The most captivating aspect of sel roti is its softness, which initially drew my attention. These foods are primarily consumed by the local people.
