After graduating from high school, I decided to travel, uh, to Macau with my best friend, Simon. So our first stop was the ruins of St. Paul’this. Place is very beautiful. The only feature is the remaining facade of a, uh, catholic church. And it was previously, uh, a catholic church alongside with, uh, a catholic school. However, a, uh, few hundred years ago, I think a big fire burned down. The whole thing. Just accepts this facade. So, um, they built, um, like a museum behind the facade. Uh, it’s underground, it’s very small museum. And you can see a lot of reliefs and also carving on the facade there. Ah, is also, um, maybe seven or eight statues on the facade. Um, these statues were, uh, about the missionaries who died as martyrs. And they used to preachge in Macau and contribute a lot, I guess. So, um, this place is only used for, uh, sea sign. Uh, uh, it’s open for the tourists and it’s free. And I. I really like this building because it taught me a lot about. Especially about catalysism, the influence of catalystism onto macauories. So I really like the mix, uh, the mixture of Macau and I mean, the mixture of portuguese and cantonese culture.
