My sister lived in UK, summer, she and her daughter visited us in Pakistan during the summer vacations. Both her children, my niece and FU are quite inquisitive and they are always keen on learning something new. One day they saw me doing an artwork with a jute rope and they immediately developed an interest in artwork. They requested me to teach them. They visited Pakistan very rarely so I thought it would be a nice way to spend some quality time with my niece and FU. They visited me for two months so we had plenty of time. I started with the basic and explained the common things about the canvas, jute rope and the poster colours. First we went to the market and bought canvas, poster colour, glue. They became very excited after seeing the jute rope. They have experienced it firstly and I teach them how to draw a sketch on the canvas with a pencil. They started learning from me and they also sketch on their very little canvas. Then we started to paste the jute on the canvas and we made a flower vase. They also pasted it very well at the first try. When the artwork is finished, they both became very happy after seeing that masterpiece. They have learnt it for the first time. The jute on their faces is really memorable for me.
