The most expensive item I've ever bought is a MacBook Pro with 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. I purchased it back in 2021. At the time, I was working as a website developer, but my old laptop was outdated and couldn't handle the demands of my work. It had very low specifications. So, I decided to invest in a more powerful machine. I really wanted the latest model from Apple because it featured the Apple silicon processor, which is developed by Apple itself. I ordered it online in Macau and paid a deposit. Then, I traveled to Macau to pick it up. It cost me around 12,000 Macau dollars. I use it for developing and programming in Java, a programming language. I really like this laptop because it's incredibly powerful and efficient for running multiple demanding programming software. It's been serving me well for over three years now without any issues. So, I'm very happy with this purchase. Even though it was expensive, I believe it was totally worth the price.
