After my 12th I moved alone to a different state that is my career for my father’s studies. It was my first time to be away from my mother especially because my father is abroad and me and my mother were mostly together all the time. It was such a big position for me and my family. They were shocked when hearing it at the first time because they never imagined letting me go to a different state. As I am the only child they always have this feeling of being pampered so they never liked the idea of sending me away from home. I took a challenge for myself and I thought why not study in a different state, why not move from home and get some more exposure. Some new challenge in my life by meeting new people, exploring. As I had expected it was so much fun. It was nice seeing many people, many different cultures, being introduced into their lives and cultures. I had fun during the 3 years of my college life and after I finished my undergraduate I went to my postgraduate here as well. I changed my college life. It was a very new and fun change for me. I learned how to be independent, how to do the course myself. We used to go around alone with my friends. It was my first time traveling alone. All this is me. I had a long distance without my family and it was so much fun.
