This food is very specific to a particular place in India called as Hyderabad. Biryani is prepared by taking white rice which is also known as Pasanatira rice. You can add or chop chicken into it and you cook it with spices, cardamom and you wait till it is fully cooked and you have it. The biryani has this amazing aroma which captures all the essence of the spices present in it. I think the best biryani that I had was in a hotel that used to be close to my house and every Friday we used to have biryani from there. But unfortunately it cautioned down and ever since then I have been pestering my mom to try and replicate the style of biryani that was created in the hotel. But it was something that was very specific and particular to that hotel so we are unable to replicate that biryani. Biryani is a delicacy that is very specific to India and it’s always been like the top 50 food to try in the world along with another delicacy in India called as Butter Chicken which I also absolutely love. Whenever we cook biryani at my home the aroma definitely reminds me of the biryani that I used to get from the hotel. But I don’t think any biryani that I have eaten till now can replicate the taste of the biryani that I used to buy before from the hotel.
