I grew up in Vermont, USA, where winter lasted from October to April, and temperatures could plummet to minus 35 degrees. Now, living near Barcelona, I don't miss this long, harsh winter, but I also find the long, hot, and humid summers uncomfortable. My ideal weather is moderately sunny or partly cloudy, with cool, nice, and pleasantly warm days. I think this preference comes from my love of spending time outdoors. This kind of weather makes being outside truly enjoyable and comfortable.
