On the other hand, discussion programs can instill fear in the listening public. For instance, when there are issues that can cause tension among the populace and such programs are discussed on air, it can cause panic among people. So overall, I would say that discussion programs can influence people both positively and negatively, but it depends on the kind of discussion or the kind of program that is being heard that will affect how it influences people.
