It's almost an emergency situation. Since 2021, the military has taken over the government through a coup. They have been torturing many students and citizens. Studying abroad is seen as a way to escape this situation and find hope for the future. Many people are leaving the country every day for their own safety. So yes, there are a lot of people studying abroad.
