Band 6+: Do you believe that traditional arts and crafts have a significant role to play in modern society?

Your pronunciation is very good. Aim to refine subtleties and intonation to further improve.

The response is quite brief and could benefit from more elaboration. Providing specific examples or discussing the ways in which traditional arts and crafts influence modern society would strengthen the answer. Consider expanding on the connection between traditional and modern arts and crafts to demonstrate a deeper understanding.

The answer is somewhat coherent but lacks development. The repetition of 'modern society' and the basic structure make it sound a bit repetitive. To improve, try to expand on *how* modern arts and crafts are linked to traditional ones, providing specific examples or reasons. Use varied sentence structures and cohesive devices to enhance flow.

The vocabulary is adequate but limited. The phrase 'significant role' is repeated. To enhance your lexical resource, try to use synonyms or more descriptive language. For example, instead of 'significant role,' you could say 'vital contribution,' 'essential part,' or 'important function.' Also, provide specific examples of arts and crafts.

The grammar is mostly accurate, but there's a minor error ('have significant role' should be 'have a significant role'). Also, the use of 'our modern, today's modern arts and crafts' is a bit awkward. Aim for more complex sentence structures and varied grammatical forms to demonstrate a wider range. For example, you could use conditional sentences or relative clauses to add depth to your answer.
