Although my area has a huge population, I consider it to be more of a small town. Unlike a big metropolis, it lacks some facilities like big shopping malls and public spaces, for example, parks and libraries. It is also somewhat distant from the city center, so whenever you want to go downtown, it is hard to reach, maybe about an hour's drive. Additionally, it doesn't have quality education; for example, the schools are not clean, there aren't enough teachers, and the local hospital lacks specialties as well.
