I've never actually taken a practical exam, so I can't really say. But between oral and written exams, I definitely prefer written exams. I'm less nervous during written exams, and if I don't know something, I can take my time to think about it. I can say to myself, 'Okay, I don't know this topic, so I'll come back to it later.' Or, 'I don't know how to do these exercises, so I'll save them for the end.' This way, I can manage my time more effectively. I think that's a big advantage during a written exam.
