I prefer sending emails. It is a very easy thing to do compared to writing letters. Email is the easiest option. You can just send it, and the other person can receive it within a second or a minute. In contrast, for letters, stamping takes a few days, and sending the letter to the appropriate person might take too long compared to email. So, I prefer sending emails to people.
