I guess it depends on people's preferences. By that, I mean people in areas where there are a lot of rivers nearby love to visit the seaside and the mountains to appreciate nature. On the other hand, some tourists, especially in China, are attracted to lakes or rivers because they can appreciate the beauty of fog in the early mornings and see some ships carrying big cars or fishing gear.
