Role models are important because young people need someone to look up to and see how a good person behaves and what a good or bad person has to experience in their life. They can aim to become similar to that good person. They will understand the kinds of difficulties they may face and how they can navigate typical situations and move ahead. Additionally, a role model can provide knowledge and guidance that helps them grow and develop into better individuals.
