To my mind, television has changed a lot in the past few decades. Currently, people watch TV because they don't have much other entertainment. On TV, there are a lot of advertisements that really waste our time. Whenever we want to watch something interesting to expand our knowledge, we just need to sit and wait for these advertisements to go away. Also, I think these advertisements try to help us buy something, so it's bad.
