Yes, I used to use public transportation often, quite daily. I used public transportation while going to college and while getting home. The public transportation was a good means of travel and it was quite accessible for me to get to my college because the pickup station or the bus station was just near my home, and the route that the bus traveled was on the way to my college. So I had no difficulty in walking, and that's the reason.
