His father's name was Suleyman Shah, and his wife's name was Halime Sultan. They had three children: Ertuğrul, Dündar, and Gündüz. Ertuğrul's wife's name was Halime Sultan. Halime Sultan was the daughter of a Byzantine emperor. They had many children, including Osman I, who founded the Ottoman Empire.
