Because Kazakhstan is a post-Soviet country, you can actually see lots of old buildings in every city of this country. For example, when I was living in Anwate, I had an interaction with an old factory that was used for food supplies. Now, of course, it's not working anymore, but this kind of building is not rare to encounter.
