From my point of view, hobbies have changed a lot. If we compare them to the past, people usually take up new hobbies that they are really interested in. For example, they could pick up seasonal hobbies and activities that they truly enjoy in their free time. Nowadays, however, people choose hobbies to fill their time because after work they feel exhausted, and to improve their conditions, they choose hobbies that help them pass the time.
