There are several measures which can be taken by the government to improve public transportation, such as increasing the number of bus and metro stations to prevent overcrowding. Moreover, increasing safety by implementing CCTV cameras and bright lighting so that every woman can feel safe at unusual timings. Increasing the frequency of bus and metro arrivals so that people don't wait for longer periods during peak hours, especially in the evening and the morning. There are also many struggles for disabled people when traveling, so some facilities should be implemented to improve travel for them as well. Apart from that, there are issues with first and last mile connectivity, so seamless travel breaks down here, and it should be connected.
