I think the cultural traditions shape our understanding of identity from the teaching itself. For example, when we are introduced to a cultural tradition, they will talk about the belief system and with this teaching, eventually, we will be able to understand the real identity of the cultural traditions. not to mention the way that they taught us about their identity or their cultural belief system they will accept us, they will explain it to us as if you are one of them, as you belong to them and so with this act of teaching and with this act of care being combined, eventually we can feel our belongings and with that and with that teaching too, we’ll be able to understand our identity our identity or even our belonging, where do we want to belong? Or do we feel belong in here? Do we feel accepted in here? So this is why I firmly believe that cultural traditions can shape our understanding of identity and belonging in every aspect or in every way that they are teaching to us.
