I think large shopping malls or commercial centers affect local businesses in terms of occupying the market share of customers. These large centers can gather a lot of small shops in one place and provide a variety of services for customers, creating convenient shopping experiences. Because people can buy a lot of things in one place, however, the prices may be higher than those of local businesses. This can make it difficult for local businesses to compete.
