In the past, leisure time used to mean spending time with family, either through vacations, dinner in a good restaurant, or just a regular family TV night. However, today, with the influx of new technology, like social media, streaming platforms, and online games, more and more people are starting to relate. There is leisure time that overlaps with free time. They spend time gaming, chatting, or watching online videos. While this may seem like modernity has brought humans to distant communities, it is actually not an adverse effect, in my opinion, because humans, as social animals, need to have free time of their own that is not solely for interacting with each other but also for nurturing their souls.
