In recent years, virtual reality has been a global phenomenon, and many experts predict that it will revolutionize our way of experiencing our own lives, including the way we travel. So I think virtual reality may have the power to affect the way we travel, but it cannot influence the way we experience traveling. For example, virtual reality may be able to show us images of certain landmarks from faraway lands, but it cannot deliver the emotional sensations of actually seeing the physical, tangible landmarks by traveling there. Moreover, humans like to experience tangible things, for example, actually reading a physical book rather than reading an e-book. So in this regard, in the experience of traveling, people will continue to travel abroad physically rather than through the virtual experience.
