Well, I am a nurse by profession. I think in my profession, English plays a major role because it is a medium to communicate between different people. Since I moved to the UK from India, I can say that English is the primary language that British people speak. I need to learn English, and I also need to communicate well with patients so that the information is handed over in a smooth way.
