Well, to be honest, if someone gave me a dictionary as a gift nowadays, I wouldn't find it very useful. There are so many online resources and apps available where you can look up words instantly. However, I can definitely see the value of a physical dictionary in the past, before technology was so advanced. Back then, dictionaries were essential for learning and understanding new words. In fact, I used to use a dictionary quite a lot during my childhood. So, to answer your question, a dictionary would have been a great gift in the past, but today, with all the online options, it's not as necessary.

Well, to be very honest, if someone gave me a dictionary as a gift in recent days, I believe it is not essential for us and there are plenty of options and applications available over online platform so that we can download or even though we can use online uh uh, application as well.
