From my point of view, operating a profitable, long-lasting business requires understanding how firms compete with other companies in order to capture customers' loyalty and investment. The way I see it, competition at work encourages a sense of creativity and innovation and motivates manufacturers to create products people value at prices they can afford. However, I should mention that on some occasions, competition might be destructive since some companies might compete with others through unethical approaches and make a big profit for themselves.
