Personally, I actually do think that Jewish tradition influence individual decision making in modern society. For example, if we talk about Jewish cultural traditions, we can talk about the wedding that Jewish people need to marry with a Jewish person and that they can’t marry someone that isn’t Jewish because it is contradictory of the Hebrew Bible. However, I do think that nowadays with the modern society that not a lot of people are really attached to the cultural tradition as before, for example, migrant parents who are Jewish are a lot more practicent than my parents who also are Jewish but are really more liberal compared to my old dog’s grandparents. I do think it does have an influence. For example, my dad, he was in love with a boy who is a non-Jewish person and basically my grandparents refused the wedding due to the lack of Jewishness in the woman.
