My father had won several tickets in a small lottery and the margin was very close to very next day. My dad and brother were absolutely thrilled because they were huge football fans and watching matches on a regular basis so they convinced the rest of us to come along. At first, my sister and I felt a bit bored because we didn’t really understand what was happening on the field. However, the atmosphere in the stadium gradually changed our mood. Fans were screaming at the top of their lungs, chanting, waving flags and reacting emotional to every single moment of the game. The match itself turned out to be incredibly intense and action packed. I remember the score was very close. It was something like 2-2-2 at one point. Everyone around us became extremely nervous and excited. Even though I don’t usually care about football, I got completely caught up in excitement and and started wondering which team would come out on the top. What impressed me the most was the incredible energy of the crowd. Watching a match life feels completely different from watching it on the TV, because you can actually feel the tension and excitement around you.
