Nowadays, a lot of people believe media reports are getting more and more biased. There are mainly three reasons for this. First of all, commercial pressure plays a big role. Most media rely on views and clicks to make profits. To attract audiences, they tend to pick sensational stories and take a one-sided stance instead of presenting the full facts. Secondly, different values and political stances influence reporting. Many news outlets stand for certain groups or ideas, where reporters may unintentionally include biased information and express personal opinions in articles. Thirdly, the rise of social media makes the problem worse. Ordinary people share news quickly, but most lack strict fact-checking. Rumors and partial views spread faster than objective reports. In short, profit demands, beliefs, and fast online communication make modern media coverage less neutral.
