Yes, of course, in Kolkata, there are many old buildings that have been well preserved. And actually, some of them are vibrant. If you go to the house of Rabindranath Tagore, it is famous as a cultural hub. Really? It really depends on what we are talking about. If we are talking about old buildings that have cultural and historical significance or some unique architectural style, they should be kept, of course. But when it comes to buildings that are unsafe and in very bad condition, why not just demolish them? Modern houses, no doubt, offer convenience, but I want to enjoy the charm of the old buildings too.
