One year ago, after I finished high school, my parents gave me two choices. First, continue my degree in Indonesia, and second, continue my degree in Malaysia. I thought about it for one month because it was difficult to decide. I had never taken a private English lesson before, so I wasn't confident in my English language skills. After a month, I chose to continue my degree in Indonesia because I thought it would provide many benefits, such as learning new things, making friends from different countries, and becoming more independent than before. When I was making this choice, I felt confused and sad because I wasn't confident in my English and felt sad about living alone and leaving my parents behind.
